An interview with rock icon Donovan. I interviewed him in person at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley, CA on May 19th, 2009. What an honor this was for me!

    Excellent interview, Michael!

When I was 11 (not a typo!) years old, I was Donovan’s interpreter at a show he played in my hometown. Went for lemonade and cake with him and his family after the show.

Great to hear that he is still such a nice guy!

i can never get enough of listening to the Rock and Roll Geek talking and reminiscing with the Masters and Gurus of the Rock Scene whose music i grew up loving.
it makes me feel good and groovy and brings a certain relevance to today’s music appreciation experience. dig it!

    rock on, forever!

Michael, I listened to your awesome interview with Donovan today while at work – I build minivans.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Hearing all those awesome stories from someone as relevant, prolific and great as Mr. Leitch makes my day. What an incredible scene that must’ve been back in the late 60’s. So much great and enduring music has come out of that scene.

    Keep up the great work!

    Mike
