    hey Michael, thanks for opening the chatroom while streaming the live recording of the show…. it’s always so much fun. i know you get distracted by us giving you shit in real time but it does add a dimension of spontaneity that keeps the show *real* 😉
    totally got into the cowbell theme of this show… dunno exactly why, but the sound of cowbell in rock is sumthin’ that i really dig. wierd, but so true 😀
    looking forward to the Vickie Blue interview. catch ya then!

  2. Yo Michael! – Would have loved to listen to the stream – but that was like 2 or 3 AM here in Bangkok… Was very pleased to hear the Silly Fools on the show, and even more so that the “bad cops” gave it the thumbs up.

    And yes: Thailand is not as under-developed as many people like to think; many clubs have DJ equipment that would make Western clubs pale, and music production is also not too bad! But, I have to admit, they are happy with a PA that makes any old noise, not necessarily good sound… 😉

  3. P.S.: the song you played is called “Wud Jai” (I’m still working on the translation of the title…), and was released in 2002!

    And I agree: the Nazareth interview is great! As is the jingle (or whatever you’d call it) they recorded for you!

  4. As promised: the meaning of “Wud Jai” (the Silly Fools track you played)…

    The Thai language is often difficult to put into English. Very often a combination on the word “jai” (= heart) is used to describe tons of feelings. (There even is an English language book/dictionary that goes into this subject only!)

    My girlfriend said that the best way to describe the title would be as “Putting your whole heart into reaching a certain goal/aim”.

    There you have it… Keep rockin’!
