  1. enjoyed the interview… Nazareth was very much part of my life as a teen and young adult. i was one of those kids who blasted Nazareth on the car 8-track player. they always had cool coverart on the albums, too.
you know, i used to tell people that AC/DC modelled themselves after Nazareth and people thought i was nuts… glad to hear somebody else hears it, too. and, way cool that bit you did, Michael, with the iPod and Green Day song.

too bad you have to stick with a radio format these days and limit your show to your allotted time of 49 minutes (i suppose the other 11 minutes of the radio hour is for commericals & other promo shit?) cos it woulda been very cool to hear more Nazareth music. or, maybe, the record label wouldn’t allow the airplay?
anyway, congrats to you and Shane for getting yet another great interview with legendary rockers!
    🙂

  2. That was a Great interview!
So many facts and information. Nazareth should link this interview on their site because I am sure their fans around the World would love it.
    Another classic interview!

  3. Another super cool interview. It’s always great to hear from the guys in bands that were kinda there in the start. Looking forward to the next great interview.

    Jeff

  4. after listening to the Nazareth interview again, i just had to come back on here to say that despite my continual bitching and moaning about certain aspects of the RnRGS, i totally_dig listening to a contemporary of mine talk with rock legends about music that is part of are lives.
maybe, it’s because you are a true fan rather than a hired reporter, but Michael you have a way of bringing out a relaxed honesty in your interviewees. Cream, Circus nor Rolling Stone could do it any better.
    Michael, you rock, dude!!
    🙂
