Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden flew to the aid of some British tourists who got stranded in Egypt after their travel company closed. The article leads me to belive that only one person in the 221 on the plane recognized him. It might have had something to do with the wardrobe…

An interview with Ramones tour manager of 22 years, Monte Melnick. He was there from the beginning and he saw it all. He wrote a book about it called ‘On The Road With The Ramones’

In honor of Bang Camaro’s appearance on the latest episode of the Rock and Roll Geek Show I thought I’d feature my friend Intense Interviews‘ 3 part interview with them: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3. He’s also got interviews with members of Waltham and Damone, which MB namedropped on this episode.
I think my favorite thing about this band is that part of their schtick is rather than touring with the whole band they do auditions via YouTube for fans in each city to get up and sing with them. I know of one case where a fan became an actual member of the band after doing this.
