Rock and Roll Geek Show 107

On this show I interview songwriter Jim Vallance. This interview took place about 3 weeks ago. I have about 5 more interviews recorded. Before I start the interview, I attempt to clear up something Dave Slusher said on his most recent show. I don’t know if I cleared it up well or not but I said what was on my mind at the time. That is why I love doing my show. Because I can say shit that is on my mind.

Here is the link to Jim Vallance’s web site. LINK

  2. Be still my heart! This interview was freaking AWESOME!!!

Being in Canada, and thanks to CanCon, we’ve had probably more exposure to Jim Vallance than people in other countries. And because I’ve heard so much of his stuff, his songs have seriously impacted my life. And I have to say, I haven’t heard an interview with him for years. This was awesome!

The thing that has always fascinated me about J.W is that he looks, and sounds, like a very quiet, unassuming guy. Yet these hardcore rock songs come out of him. How cool is that?

Oh man! He’s (sort of) writing with Bryan Adams again. I hope it evolves.

Thanks for not interrupting him (much) and just letting him talk. This was such a pleasure to listen to, Michael!

I really found the whole show entertaining and informative, and you’re getting better and better with your interviewing technique. Michael, you’re one of the best podcasters out there. Everything you do is entertaining and I can’t wait for every new episode. Please don’t let the bastards out there get you down. Jealousy is the sincerest form of flattery IMHO.Keep up the great work.
