  1. i think it’s cool that the contestant thought to get “creative” with his song choice, but i’m not sure Trip-Hop is the best sound for ‘We Are The Champions’. lol, ‘Rock The Casbah’ would be much better suited for a Trip-Hop sound.
Trip-Hop is cool music…. it’s mostly an electronica Jazz sound built upon downtempo and beatbreaks. i think of Trip-Hop as the Reggae of Hip-Hop/Rap. Morcheeba is my fav Trip-Hop band.

well, i’m still not into RockStar INXS, but i guess it’s good for comic relief. i just hope INXS gains some success rather than setback with this publicity venture.

btw, that song by Alien Crime Syndicate is a good one.

  2. Michael,

Great show! I can’t bring myself to watch those shows as unlike Elvis, I can’t afford to shoot the TV everytime I’m enraged by it. Those shows push my button… but by you presenting them to us and editing them AND reediting them on the fly, you stop me from reaching for the non-existant gun.
As you get closer to #100, you continue to entertain, inform and refine your podcasting voice; thanks for being a must listen podcast for all this time!

  3. hehe, i sooo agree with Aron… good to have Michael and his indelible charm to keep us abreast of crap american music TV shows without us having to suffer through their entirety ourselves 😉

btw, no put down to INXS and their incredible talent and contribution to the music scene… as a fan, i just question their current project.

  4. Hey Mike B,
Surprised tohear Tsar on your show. A little bit artier than the normal Geek spins-but I dig that stuff. Your getting to be the rhona Barret of R&R.
