The first band on this week’s episode are The Carburetors from Norway. I talk about missing Virus and Inner Eden due to lack of money but play some Inner Eden anyway. An Audiophile track from the latest G.M.T. album makes it’s debut and talking of debuts I play the opening song from the very first Motörhead gig which was waaaay back in 1975. Four live tracks by Shush from their headlining gig at the Water Rats are aired and I finish up the show by talking about Nicke Andersson’s new band, Cold Ethyl and play out with a couple of Steve Jones and The Fantasy 7 gems.

The Dave & Dave Show – Part 2.
The week the finale of my chat to 2 legends
of Australian rock.
Dave Tice sang in one of Aust most reveered bands
in the early 70s – Buffalo.
(which featured the late great Pete Wells of Rose Tattoo)
Dave spent the late 70s in UK working with
The Count Bishops in esteemed company of
bands like Dr. Feelgood.
For the last 15 years or so, Dave has been working
with ex AD/DC bass player Mark Evans.
Tice and Evans are a powerhouse acoustic rock and
blues duo.
Dave Evans is well known as the first vocalist
with AC/DC.
He now lives in Dallas, Texas.
But there are many more strings to Dave’s bow.
His band after AD/DC – Rabbit are one of this countries
favorite bands in the 70s.
Dave has a brilliant new CD out -Judgement Day.
And is touring in 2009 with his band The Badasses.

Again I can’t emphasize enough how much great rock and roll is out there waiting to be discovered. As long as you are willing to veer off the well trod major label beaten path and make your own way you will discover a treasure trove of great tunes that will make you kick yourself for not having started your explorations earlier.
Always remember that this podcast is merely a free taste of what each band and artist has in store for you. If you really want to show your support, buy their music and go to their shows. It is the only way they can continue to do what they are doing.
